Pirates! Sea monsters! Mermaids and dashing rescues; Zana Sets Sail brings all the fun and action of a pirate story to the stage (and the air above it!) with a distinctly circus twist.Lyra, Silks, Acro-balance, props, Pole and even some chair dancers feature in this fantastical romp across Oceans, desert islands and disreputable pirate ports! The show includes adult themes, strong language, stylised violence, and sexual references so parental discretion is advised. Best if you bring your friends and leave the kids with a sitter!
The idea of making sport accessible, fun, and social for adults was one of the founding motivations for Zana Aerial Dance Academy! So, seeing the performers laugh, plan and get excited about shows is one of our favourite things!
We love our Wagga audiences, who are always so great at sharing in the fun, cheering on the amazing performers, and embracing the chaos of a storyline held together purely by vibes. We’re so excited to share what we’ve been working on with you all! Come cheer on Zana’s adult students and see what Wagga’s local aerial community has been up to!
This show is the Adult Student showcase. The Zana children’s showcase is on the same day but at 2pm in the afternoon.
