📅 Saturday 24th July 2027
⏰ 10:00am – 5:00pm
📍 Hatton Country World, Dark Lane, Warwick, CV35 8XB
🧭 Geocaching Code: GCBV1K5
Piratemania was the first pirate-themed Geocaching Mega Event in the world and, since 2008, has brought together geocachers, families and friends for treasure hunting, camping, activities and plenty of pirate-themed madness.
In 2027 the crew will be descending on Hatton Country World for Piratemania 19.
Expect pirates.
Expect treasure.
Expect plenty of geocaching.
Expect questionable decisions.
Basically… expect Piratemania. 🏴☠️
⚓ MEGA DAY
The main Piratemania 19 Mega Event takes place on Saturday 24th July from 10am until 5pm.
Entry is £5 per adult aged 16+ for non-campers.
🏕️ MAKE A HOLIDAY OF IT
Piratemania camping is being extended in 2027 so geocachers can enjoy Piratemania and then remain based at the campsite for the following weekend’s West Midlands Mega 2027.
🏴☠️ Piratemania 19
Saturday 24th July 2027
🐻 West Midlands Mega 2027
Saturday 31st July 2027
That means two UK Mega Events, one holiday and no need to pack everything away and move camp halfway through the week. 🏴☠️🐻
More details about camping, supporters packs, activities, side events and everything else the crew have planned will be announced as we get closer.
Follow the Piratemania Facebook page and this Event for all the latest updates.
And don't forget — clicking “Going” on Facebook doesn't replace your official Geocaching log!
Head over to GCBV1K5 and log your Will Attend so the crew know you're coming.
Hoist the colours…
