About this Event
Join rising Scottish singer-songwriter Pippa Blundell for a special live performance at The Sound of Style.
Blending intimate folk storytelling with ambient textures and a distinctive classical vocal edge, Pippa creates music that explores stillness, observation and the beautiful chaos of everyday life. Their sound has drawn comparisons to This Is the Kit, Laura Marling and Jeff Buckley.
A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Pippa originally trained as a mezzo-soprano before discovering a passion for songwriting and composition within Glasgow’s thriving contemporary music scene.
Pippa has since earned recognition from the Scottish Album of the Year Awards and Scottish Alternative Music Awards, as well as winning Rising Star at the 2025 Scottish Jazz Awards. Their album was named a 2025 Album of the Year on BBC Radio Scotland’s Roddy Hart Show, and in 2026 they were invited to perform with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra for its Burns Night celebrations.
This free, ticketed performance offers the chance to experience one of Scotland’s most exciting emerging musical voices live.
