Mark your calendars and join us for one of Trotwood’s most beloved traditions, the annual Pioneer Harvest Fest! Each autumn, the grounds of the historic Iams Homestead come alive with the sights, sounds, and aromas of an earlier era. Families, friends, neighbors, and history enthusiasts gather to celebrate our agricultural heritage and experience firsthand the traditions that helped shape our community. The event is held at the historic Iams Homestead Museum, home of the Trotwood-Madison Historical Society and one of the community’s most treasured landmarks. Visitors can explore the historic homestead and 1854 barn, watch demonstrations of traditional skills and farm equipment, admire antique tractors and vehicles, enjoy hayrides, and experience the simple pleasures of a fall harvest celebration. Past festivals have featured, corn harvesting, , antique farm machinery, historic displays, hay rides and plenty of opportunities to learn about the area’s rich agricultural history.
