Pints & Ponytails is back, and this time we're tackling BRAIDS!
Hosted by SNV and Beards Brewery in The Root Cellar, Braids Without Panic is a beginner-friendly, hands-on class for anyone who's ever wanted to learn how to braid.
Maybe you're a parent trying to figure out French braids before school. Maybe your wife keeps asking you to braid her hair and you've been avoiding it because you have absolutely no idea where to start. Or maybe you've always wanted to learn how to French braid your own hair but YouTube tutorials just aren't cutting it.
Whatever your reason, you're welcome here!
We're starting with the absolute basics. We'll break down how to hold your sections, where your fingers are supposed to go, how to maintain tension, and how to keep everything from falling apart halfway through.
Here's what we'll be learning:
- Basic three-strand braids
- French and Dutch braids
- Fun variations like fishtail, bubble, and rope braids
- A few more creative styles for anyone ready for an extra challenge!
You'll watch our SNV stylists demonstrate each technique step-by-step, then get to practice on mannequin heads while we walk around helping, answering questions, and troubleshooting those moments when your fingers just refuse to cooperate.
And don't worry if you missed our first Pints & Ponytails! Every class stands on its own, so absolutely no previous experience is necessary.
