PINPOINT: A Tasting Experience by Design
For Detroit Month of Design 2026, Pinpoint presents a September residency where food becomes a designed experience.
From the arrangement of a floral set to the architecture of a tasting menu, every detail is intentional. Every color, flavor, texture, sound, and scent is part of the experience.
This is design you can taste, smell, hear, feel, and take home.
Pinpoint is produced by a creative team rooted in culinary education, experience strategy, and digital storytelling. Each week, we spotlight Detroit-based chefs representing African, Afro-Latin, Southeast Asian, Southern, and Middle Eastern culinary traditions, celebrating diaspora food culture as a powerful expression of creativity and design.
Every Tuesday brings a new chef, color, and mantra, creating an experience that extends beyond the plate and invites you to slow down, connect, and take something with you.
