Discover the magic of opera with Pinocchio!Carlo Collodi’s beloved wooden puppet comes to life in John Davies’ engaging one-act opera for young audiences. Featuring music from Mozart, Donizetti, Offenbach, and Pergolesi, Pinocchio combines familiar storytelling, humor, colorful characters, and theatrical adventure with the beauty of live opera.
As Pinocchio navigates a world of temptation, friendship, and unexpected challenges, students explore themes of honesty, courage, responsibility, family, and making good choices. Performed in English, Pinocchio is an accessible and entertaining introduction to opera—and an opportunity for students to experience the performing arts in a meaningful way.
