About this Event
Join the Devon Wildlife Trust Pine Marten team for an exploration in how to bring Pine Martens into the classroom (although not literally) and the young people to the Pine Martens.
We will learn about Pine Marten ecology, explore the education activities designed by the Devon Wildlife Trust, including their education packs. We will identify practical actions, such as tree planting, that can help these beautiful creatures establish in the South West, and find out about opportunites and free resources to support this in schools.
This will be a fun, practical and interactive day particularly suitable for people working with KS2 and KS3 pupils, but with something for everyone.
The day is FREE with thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund and other partners in the Pine Martens Bounce Back project.
Refreshments and Pine-Marten themed snacks will be provided. Bring your own lunch.
