What to Expect:
Under local ceramacist Noriko Nagaoka’s expert guidance, you’ll learn the art of pinch pot making using air-dried clay. This is your chance to craft something truly unique and personal!
Workshop Highlights:
Materials Provided: Each participant will receive 500g of air-dried clay, perfect for crafting an ornamental item. Think tea lights, candle holders, small plant pots or bowls, Christmas ornaments, or jewellery trays – the possibilities are endless!
Decorative Finishing: Opt for a smooth finish or get creative by decorating your pots with leaves, shells, or plastic stamps.
What to bring: your own decorative items to add a personal touch to your creation and an apron if you prefer.
Take Home Your Creation: Once your masterpiece is complete, take it home and allow it to dry for two days. After drying, you can paint your pot with acrylic paint and seal it with PVA glue to make it water-resistant.
Please note: The air-dried clay used in this workshop is not food safe and is intended for decorative purposes only.

Age suitability: Age 6 years + (All children must be supervised by a parent/carer)
On Sunday 20 October, Muswell Hill Creatives will be bringing people together to get creative at its Make and Mend Festival. Guaranteed to be a feast of creativity with a strong focus on sustainability, take part in a workshop, learn about mending and repairs, shop from local makers and enjoy tasty food and drink. Admission to the Festival is free so be sure to arrive early if you're booking a workshop to take a look around and enjoy all that's on offer. Doors open to the Festival at 1pm and close at 5pm so arrive early, grab something to eat and browse all the great activities taking place.
