About this Event
PillowTalk (DJ Duo Set)
At the heart of PillowTalk are founding members Sammy Doyle and Michael Tello whose shared musical vision has shaped the project’s signature sound for over a decade. Emerging from San Francisco’s underground house scene, PillowTalk evolved into a boundary-pushing live band and electronic music project, releasing music on influential labels including Wolf + Lamb, Visionquest, and Life and Death, and bringing their distinctive blend of house, disco, funk, and indie sensibilities to dancefloors around the world.
As a DJ Duo, Samuel Doyle, aka Sammy D., & Mikey Tello, aka Lil’T, bring a deep, instinctive connection to the dancefloor, blending timeless grooves with forward-thinking selections and the playful energy that has defined PillowTalk since its beginnings.
While their sets are rooted in the art of DJing, they occasionally take things a step further, bringing live vocals into the mix to perform select PillowTalk classics alongside new and unreleased material. The result is a unique extension of the PillowTalk experience, bridging the worlds of DJ culture and live performance while keeping the dancefloor at the center of it all.
With their third studio album, Last Dance On The World, slated for Spring 2027, PillowTalk are entering an exciting new chapter, with fresh music and new creative energy on the horizon.
