About this Event
Pilates Private Sessions & Small Groups
My Pilates journey began with Power Pilates in 2008, and I’m delighted to keep moving forward. Having completed my latest Pilates continuing education, I’m excited to introduce private sessions and small-group Pilates in the studio.
Private sessions feature classical mat Pilates on the high mat, with the focused, one-on-one attention of personal training. Each session allows time to refine technique, explore movement, and work at a pace tailored to your experience and goals.
Your private session includes a high mat, weighted stability ball, roll-down bar, foot strap, box, and circle. These tools offer opportunities for support, resistance, and variety, selected to complement your practice.
Small-group sessions offer a welcoming space to practice together, with thoughtful instruction and an emphasis on breath, control, and precision.
Whether you’re discovering Pilates or returning to a familiar practice, there is room to begin where you are.
Book your session now to ensure your space.

Agenda
The Hundred
Info: Lie on your back, curl your head and shoulders up, and extend your legs together at a height that keeps your lower back supported. Pump your arms briskly, inhaling for five pumps and exhaling for five, until you reach 100 pumps.
The Roll Up
Info: Lie with your legs together, feet flexed, and arms reaching overhead without lifting your ribs. Bring your arms forward, roll up and reach over your legs, then roll down one vertebra at a time.
One Leg Circle
Info: Lie on your back with one leg reaching upward and the other extended along the mat. Circle the raised leg across your body, down, and around while keeping your pelvis steady, then reverse before changing legs.
Rolling Like a Ball
Info: Balance behind your sitting bones with knees bent, hands around your ankles, and spine rounded. Inhale to roll onto your shoulder blades, then exhale to return to balance without touching your feet down or rolling onto your neck
The Single Leg Stretch
Info: Curl your head and shoulders up, draw one knee inward, and extend the opposite leg. Place your outside hand at the ankle and inside hand at the knee, switching legs smoothly while keeping your torso still.
The Double Leg Stretch
Info: Curl your head and shoulders up and draw both knees inward, holding your ankles. Inhale to reach your arms overhead and legs outward, then exhale to circle your arms around and gather your knees without lowering your chest.
Scissors
Info: Curl your head and shoulders up, holding one straight leg near the calf or ankle while reaching the other forward. Draw the raised leg toward you with two controlled pulses, then switch legs while keeping your pelvis steady.
Lower Lift
Info: Lie with your hands supporting your head, shoulders curled up, and straight legs reaching upward together. Inhale to lower your legs only as far as your lower back stays anchored, then exhale to lift them.
Criss-Cross
Info: Support your head with your hands, curl your shoulders up, and draw both knees inward. Rotate your rib cage toward one bent knee as the opposite leg extends, then switch without pulling your neck.
Spine Stretch Forward
Info: Sit tall with legs slightly wider than your hips, feet flexed, and arms reaching forward. Exhale to round forward while drawing your abdomen back, then inhale to stack your spine upright.
Corkscrew
Info: Lie on your back with arms beside you and both legs reaching upward together. Circle your legs to one side, down, and around, keeping your pelvis anchored, then reverse.
Saw
Info: Sit tall with legs apart, feet flexed, and arms extended sideways. Twist and round forward, reaching your little finger past the opposite little toe for three small pulses, then rise and switch sides while keeping both hips grounded.
Swan Prep
Info: Lie face down with palms near your shoulders and elbows bent backward. Lengthen your chest forward and upward with light hand support, keeping your abdomen engaged, then lower with control.
Single Leg Kick
Info: Lie face down, propped on your forearms with your chest lifted and legs extended. Bend one knee for two heel-to-seat pulses, then lengthen that leg and switch without rocking your pelvis.
Side Kick Series
Info: Lie on your side with hips stacked, head supported, and legs slightly forward. Keep your trunk still while performing forward-and-back kicks, lifts, and small circles with the top leg, then repeat on the other side.
Teaser
Info: Lie on your back with legs together and extended diagonally upward. Roll your torso up into a V balance, reaching toward your toes, then roll down while maintaining the legs’ height.
Seal
Info: Balance with knees apart, soles facing each other, and arms threaded inside your legs to hold your ankles. Clap your feet three times, roll onto your shoulder blades and clap again, then return to balance without rolling onto your neck.
Push-Ups
Info: Stand tall at the end of your mat, roll down through your spine, and walk your hands forward into a plank with shoulders over wrists. Bend your elbows close to your ribs and press back up while keeping your body aligned, then lift your hips, walk your hands toward your feet, and roll up to standing.
