🏴☠️ Bayside 10K, Pieces of Eight & Kids’ Fun MileSunday 3 October 2027 | Stokes Bay, Gosport
Ahoy, runners! Gather your crew, dust off your pirate hats and join Believe & Achieve for a coastal running adventure packed with sea views, smiles and finish-line treasure!
Choose your voyage:
⚓ Bayside 10K – 10 kilometres of coastal running for landlubbers and seasoned sea dogs alike.
🏴☠️ Pieces of Eight – an 8-mile adventure for those ready to go the extra nautical mile… although we’ll stick to ordinary miles on race day!
🦜 Kids’ Fun Mile – a chance for our youngest pirates to stretch their sea legs and earn some treasure of their own.
Our routes explore the flat coastal paths around Stokes Bay, taking runners around historic Fort Gilkicker and across Gosport’s golf-course surroundings, with coastal and harbour views along the way. Expect a few twists and turns, plenty of pirate spirit and a warm welcome from our crew.
Preparing for the Great South Run? The 10K and 8-mile distances make a brilliant opportunity to build confidence, test your kit and get a useful training run in before the big day.
Pirate fancy dress is warmly encouraged—whether you arrive in full captain’s regalia or simply sporting an eye patch. Just make sure you can see where you’re running!
💰 Your race-day treasure includes:
Fully timed events and published results
Race number
Bespoke medal for every finisher, including our youngest pirates
Finisher’s swag bag
Race photos
Pirates to meet along the way!
🚻 Toilets, medical cover and pay-and-display parking are available. We’re based at Bayside Cabin, where refreshments can be purchased before or after your adventure.
With many thanks to our supporters at Gosport 545 and Breakfast Club. We’ll also be raising funds for GAFIRS, helping support their vital local lifeboat service.
Three distances. One fantastic pirate adventure. Bring your shipmates and come chase some treasure!
