Are you a poet looking to develop your creative process, and expand your awareness of different ways to approach your poetry?
Join our session led by poets Steffan Williams (Brantford Poetz mainstay and Echoes chapbook author) and Linzey Corridon (PostDoc and Instructor at TMU English Department, recipient of the 2025 Hamilton Literary Award, and the Caricon Prize for Literature) to explore a new side to your writing.
Steffan will discuss ideas around showing not telling, expansion within poems, generating ideas and keeping yourself open.
Linzey will dive into free verse poetry, outlining a few different styles of free verse including prose, question poetry, and concrete poetry.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Please bring a pen and paper with you.
Option to bring a work in progress that you may choose to share as time allows.
