About this Event
Dear verticals, it's time to come back to Sierra de Guadalupe.
We will march to "Pico Moctezuma" - one of the most exciting and most beautiful mountain summits in the CDMX.
It features native xerophilous scrub, reforested oak-pine and eucalyptus areas, and panoramic views overlooking the vast urban sprawl of the city Valley.
This is a loop hike!

Starts at 9:00 AM
Meeting spot: in front of Monumento de "El Sereno" (Insurgentes, Chapultepec, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc)

Detailed plan:
09:00 - Meeting in front of El Sereno monument
09:15 - Departure from Insurgentes to Malacates
10:30 - Arriving to the trailhead
10:40 - Start hiking
14:00 - Lunch by Chicoquauhyo peak
14:25 - Continue hiking
17:45 - Arriving back to trailhead and taking bus back to the city
19:00 - Arriving to CDMX

About 13.2km (expect for full day)
Total elevation: 949m (please keep this into consideration as this hike is NOT for rookies)
Please come prepared as this is not a foodie trip.
Please don't come late as the bus and bus will NOT wait for you.
Please bring enough water and food for 7 hours.
We do not recommend you to swim at lakes and rivers.
We will be listening to the music on our hike and taking numerous photos and videos.
