Eat, connect & make new friends! 🧺✨ Join us for a relaxed Sunday picnic at the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. Bring something to share, meet new people and discover a little more about each other through food, stories and different cultures. 🌎💛

Hi everyone! We’re Ale and Nath, two Italian girls who moved to Melbourne looking for that feeling of home and for new people to share it with.

That’s why we created Salty, a community bringing together movement, creativity and the simple joy of connecting with others.

We’ll meet on Sunday, 27 September at 11:00 AM at Hopetoun Lawn, Royal Botanic Gardens.

All you need to bring is something to eat or drink and yourself! If you’d like, we’d love for you to bring something typical from your country or culture, so we can share different flavours and discover something new together. 🌎🥐

We’ll be enjoying the picnic on the grass, so feel free to bring a picnic blanket or anything comfortable to sit on.

If you have food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements, there’s also a café very close to the picnic location where you can purchase something that suits you.

The picnic will still go ahead if the weather is cloudy or not perfectly sunny, as there is also a covered area nearby.

In case of rain, the event will be cancelled. We’ll share any updates as soon as possible.
