Pickathon Presents An Evening with Shannon McNally at The Showdown Saloon on Saturday, January 9, 2027Grammy nominee Shannon McNally is coming to Portland for a full night of songs and stories, no opener, just her. The New York Times called her voice bruised, smoky and ornery, and for over twenty years she’s lived in the space where country, soul, blues and rock meet, writing her own songs and interpreting the greats with equal ease.
Her live career began on the 1990s jam band circuit alongside players like Derek Trucks, and she’s since built a catalog of fourteen albums, including ‘Live At Dee’s,’ a career spanning set recorded over four nights in a Nashville neighborhood honky tonk. Her new single, ‘Superpower,’ is out now. Expect wry humor, soul stirring vocals and some seriously good electric guitar playing in an intimate room built for listening.
