Join us at The Showdown Saloon on November 15 for an evening of exceptional songwriting from two of the most compelling voices in contemporary roots music. For more than two decades, Jeffrey Foucault has built a reputation as one of America's finest songwriters, creating a body of work defined by literary storytelling, emotional depth, and a profound sense of place. Blending folk, Americana, country, and rock influences, his songs have earned praise from critics and fellow musicians alike while cultivating a devoted following across the U.S. and abroad.
Following the release of "The Universal Fire," his acclaimed album exploring themes of memory, loss, beauty, and resilience, Foucault continues to deliver the kind of thoughtful, powerful songwriting that has made him a cornerstone of modern Americana. His live performances are intimate, captivating, and filled with the quiet intensity that has defined his career.
Opening the evening is Portland songwriter Taylor Kingman. Known for his work as the frontman of TK & The Holy Know-Nothings and for his acclaimed solo material, Kingman blends country, folk, and Americana into songs that are heartfelt, lived-in, and unmistakably rooted in the American West. His powerful voice and honest storytelling have made him one of the Pacific Northwest's most beloved songwriters.
