About this Event
Join us on Thursday, November 5 at Wisconsin State Fair Park as U.S. Hunger, Pick ’n Save, Metro Market and Mariano’s come together with one big goal: providing ONE MILLION meals for families across the region.
This will be an inspiring, high-energy day of service where associates, customers, community partners, family, and friends roll up their sleeves and work side-by-side to support neighbors facing food insecurity..
Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or just ready to do some good, there’s a place for you. We’re offering three volunteer shifts, and you’re welcome to sign up for more than one! As a little thank-you, the first 2,000 volunteers will receive a FREE event T-shirt!
- Shift 1: 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
- Shift 2: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Shift 3: 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Volunteer Roles
🔹Table Captain
- Lead a team of 10-15 volunteers in properly packaging meals.
- Ideal for volunteers comfortable speaking and leading others.
🔹 Heavy Lifter
- Support packaging efficiency by filling bins with food and moving completed boxes to pallets.
- Required: Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
🔹 Community Volunteer
- Help pack meals alongside other volunteers as part of the effort to reach 1 million meals.
- No prior experience required, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to serve!
- Perfect for individuals, families, and groups looking to make an impact.
Our community events are family-friendly! We invite all ages to participate, but we ask that children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer.
