About this Event
New Music for a New Year!
Step into the new year with an evening of contemporary classical music at National Opera Center’s Marc A. Scorca Hall.
In "New Music for a New Year," pianist and composer Paul McCurdy presents a program of original works exploring the expressive possibilities of the piano.
You'll hear energetic etudes, a classical sonatina, a piece inspired by the hum of the Golden Gate Bridge, and the first 12 of a set of 24 preludes in all keys.
Step away from the cold and from the trauma of the world and relax for an hour or so of transportive music.
