Hey everyone! I’m thinking about giving the West Seattle Photography Club another shot and trying to get us all together one more time!I’ve been researching places around West Seattle and found a really cool spot called The Missing Piece. It’s a café and board game hangout where groups of friends get together to play games, socialize, and just have a good time.
The really cool part is that they have private rooms you can rent for around $10 an hour! One room might be a little tight for 15 people, but they actually have two rooms with an accordion wall between them that can open up into one larger space. I talked to them, and they said it would be perfect for what we’re looking to do.
I think this could be an awesome setup for us. Somewhere a little quieter than the record store, where we can actually sit together, talk photography, share ideas, learn from each other, and get to know one another.
I’m hoping to pick a day early next month and give this another try. I’d really love to see this club take off and build a little photography community here in West Seattle.
So please stay tuned. I’d be happy even if just a few people turned out. �
