The Hipodrome of Music brings you another wave of 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐢𝐨𝐭, a night of pulsing underground grooves. 👽And it is a special one, celebrating 17 years of continuous pushing the boundaries of electronic music in Sibiu and beyond. For the first time we are bringing a new dimension to our events with a live performance of 𝕸𝖆𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖉𝖔𝖓 and his band 𝔗𝔥𝔢 ℌ𝔬𝔩𝔩𝔬𝔴𝔰. Joining forces with them is 𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭, part of the New Disorder crew from Cluj-Napoca.
Expect hypnotic rhythms, electrifying drops, and a soundscape that will keep you moving until dawn. This isn’t just a party – it’s a full-blown auditory rebellion. 💣💣💣

Hailing from Cluj-Napoca, 𝕸𝖆𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖉𝖔𝖓 is one of the most representative figures of the new wave of Romanian post-punk artists. Initially launched as a “one-man band” project – relying on drum machines, reverb, and 1980s goth/new-wave influences – the artist has officially expanded into a full live band together with 𝔗𝔥𝔢 ℌ𝔬𝔩𝔩𝔬𝔴𝔰.
Their music is defined as Eastern European post-punk, characterized by melancholic Romanian lyrics and a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of artists such as Ian Curtis (Joy Division) or Egor Shkutko (Molchat Doma). 'Cinema Oniric' is the debut studio album from the Machedon project, planned to be release this year.
