The Phoenix Phearsome Phour 70K Ultra is a continuous out-and-back group run linking all four major summits of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve: Camelback Mountain, Piestewa Peak, North Mountain, and Shaw Butte. Eight total summit hits. 43.8 miles. 11,312 feet of gain. One continuous push.

This is a group run, not a race. There are no corrals, no timing chips, no bibs, no finish line tape, and no permits. Participants are solely responsible for their own safety and well-being from start to finish.
Know the route, know the conditions, and know your limits before you show up. There is a defined route, a published ruleset, and a Wall of Fame waiting for everyone who finishes and submits.
