Course Overview
This one-day practical skills course is designed for healthcare professionals who perform injections, intravenous access, and venepuncture in clinical practice and wish to strengthen their technical competence, confidence, and safety.
The course provides a structured, hands-on approach to injection techniques, IV injection principles, and phlebotomy, grounded in current UK clinical standards, infection prevention guidance, and professional accountability. Teaching focuses on safe technique, anatomical understanding, complication avoidance, and best practice, rather than speed or task-based learning alone.
