The new, ten-song Phil Burdett album entitled 'BEATNIK AMEN' is being released on Oct 1st - & a launch gig (where the album will be on sale - £10, cash only) has been arranged at the delightful & bijou surroundings of Anke's Cafe in the throbbing, cultural hub that is Westcliff's fair village. there is a small licensed bar, a backyard smoking area & a splendid array of cakes... Doors at 7pm prompt. There will be two support acts on the night - fellow Empty Bear Kev Butler will perform a short set at 7.30 followed by Mick Remmington at 8.15 then PB at 9ish 'til 10pmish close...get there early as seating is at a minimum..
