Discover Phantasy & Passion, an unforgettable evening in the historic library at Oxmoor Farm as part of the NouLou Chamber Players Parlor Series. Begin with a pre-concert reception featuring handcrafted bourbon from Oxmoor Bourbon Company, then experience two masterworks of the twentieth century: Benjamin Britten's imaginative Phantasy Quartet for oboe and strings, followed by Dmitri Shostakovich's deeply moving Piano Trio No. 2. From Britten's youthful brilliance to Shostakovich's impassioned expression of grief, resilience, and hope, this intimate program explores the extraordinary emotional power of chamber music in one of Louisville's most beautiful historic settings.
