Skip the cooking, hosting, and mountain of dishes this weekend—let's just go hang out in a parking lot instead. We’re getting together for a family-friendly potluck/tailgate. Come for the full day, swing by for a drink, or stick around for kickoff—totally up to you!The Quick Deets:
- Date: Saturday, Nov 28
- Location: Lot P2 (Farther from the stadium, but way easier to peel out whenever you want if you aren't staying for the game)
- Parking: $45 per car if you're driving. Note: You will need a tailgating parking pass for your vehicle. You can buy passes directly through UMD, but as the date gets closer (and if the weather turns cold), you might have better luck snagging cheaper ones on StubHub? Transit Alternative: Not driving? If you plan to walk the 45 minutes from the Metro station, more power to you!
- Time: TBD (will drop the start time once kickoff gets announced)
Do I need to go to the game?Nope, zero pressure! You do NOT need a game ticket. Come grab some food, play games, say hi, and bail whenever you feel like it without getting trapped in post-game gridlock.
What to bring / expect:
- Potluck: Bring a side, snack, or dessert to pass around. We can coordinate closer to the time.
- Drinks & Games: BYOB. We’ll have Cornhole and Beer Pong set up and ready.
- Kids/Families: Very family-friendly, so bring the kids!
- Feel free to forward invite to anyone you think would be interested or that I missed!
