Start the new year with a splash at Pflugerville's annual Pfreeze Pflop!🥶💦Join us Friday, Jan. 1, at Scott Mentzer Pool (901 Old Austin Hutto Road) as we kick off 2027 with this chilly, pfamily-pfriendly tradition!
Gates open at 9 a.m., and the pfrigid pfun begins at 10 a.m. as participants brave the cold and slide into the pool! Participants must be in line by 10 a.m. to take the plunge. And yes, the pool is unheated!
Admission is PFREE with a donation of a canned or dry food item to benefit local food banks. A limited number of attendees will also receive a PFREE T-shirt! Whether you're taking the plunge or cheering from the sidelines, bring your pfriends and pfamily to celebrate the new year with us!
What to wear: Swimsuits or dry-fit clothing.
What not to wear: Wetsuits, cotton T-shirts, non-swimwear clothing or anything loose or hanging that could get caught on the slide.
