ZETI
ZETI is an experimental indie folk post rock art pop project led by Margaret Stutt on piano, accordion and vocals. This is the first of Stutt’s releases to so clearly reflect her Soto Zen practice, interest in minimalism and the deconstruction of musical forms on piano, accordion, and synth, and spoken word--with faith in the redemptive power of poetry and art.
Lightman Sisters
Romy and Sari Lightman are twin siblings from Toronto. Lightman Sister's latest musical offering, Sister Smile, draws upon themes of devotion, finding universal strands of beauty in the study of spiritual work. There is a timeless quality to their astral folk songs, weaving shimmering electronics into acoustic arrangements, while the twin sisters’ close harmonies recall The Roches or Kate and Anna McGariggle.
