In May of 2026, Petrea was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. She carries a rare and aggressive mutation (BRAF V600E) and is currently undergoing intensive treatment including bi-weekly regular and targeted chemotherapy along with daily chemo pills. This journey has changed every part of her life and she is fighting this disease with everything she has. She is not working at this time.
