Ever said yes when every fibre of your being was screaming NO?Following sold-out shows at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe, and a sold-out UK tour (yes, he’s still mentioning it), Pete Murphy returns with a brand-new hour about the tiny word that could have saved us all a lot of bother.
From innocent favours that become unpaid employment to social invitations accepted under emotional duress, NO! explores the terrible decisions we make just to avoid a slightly awkward conversation.
Expect sharp observations, outrageous stories and brutally funny honesty from the former professional wrestler known as The Pirate King: a man who looks capable of intimidating anyone, yet somehow still agrees to things he absolutely doesn’t want to do.
If you’ve ever volunteered accidentally, stayed far too long or heard yourself say “aye, no bother” while quietly dying inside, this is your show.
Say yes to NO!
