Got a young animal lover who wants to turn “I can totally pet-sit!” into “I actually know what I’m doing”? Pet Sitting 101 is a hands-on class for ages 12–16 designed to help young pet sitters provide safe, reliable, professional care for pets and their people.Students will learn why keeping a pet’s normal routine matters, how to help stressed or anxious pets, safer dog-walking practices, plus pet first aid and CPR basics. The class is Sunday, October 25 from 1–3 p.m. at Williamson County Animal Center. Registration is $20 and includes a Certificate of Completion and printed resources. Space is limited, so register early and help your future pet sitter become the person the neighborhood dogs actually trust with the leash.
