Stippling is a unique technique that uses countless tiny dots to build up an image, creating beautiful gradients and depth. This method is especially effective for illustrating volume and form, without needing intricate textures.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll guide you through a simple transfer technique to help you easily replicate an image of your pet onto your page. No need to worry about drawing skills—our approach ensures that everyone can achieve fantastic results.
We’ll start by creating a value scale to understand how varying dot density affects light and shadow. Then, using this knowledge, you’ll bring your pet portrait to life with a series of meticulously placed dots.
