Bring two of your favourite tiny photos and turn them into beautiful, personalized resin keychains!
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create two custom photo keychains using your own photographs, UV resin, decorative elements, and keychain hardware. Choose photos of family, friends, pets, favourite places, special memories, anything meaningful to you.
These little keepsakes also make wonderful handmade gifts for someone special. Perfect for loved ones, bridal parties, and small groups.
What You'll Create
Each participant will create two finished photo resin keychains to take home.
You’ll be able to personalize your pieces with a selection of decorative materials, including:
- Pressed flowers and delicate botanicals
- Metallic flakes
- Glitter and subtle sparkle
- Colour accents
- Decorative inclusions
- Silver or gold colour keychain hardware and finishing details
You can keep your design simple and let your photograph be the focus, or add botanical and decorative details to make each piece completely unique.
Important: Please Submit Your Photos Before the Workshop
You do not need to print your own photos! I will do that part for you. :)
After registering, please click the link to the Google Form.
There, you’ll be able to:
- Upload the photos you would like to use
- Select your preferred keychain shape
- Choose whether you would like your photo printed on a white or transparent background
You can also email your photo to - [email protected]
I will resize and print your photos to the correct dimensions for your selected keychain mould, so they’ll be ready for you when you arrive at the workshop.
Each participant will create two photo resin keychains with silver or gold coloured hardware, so please upload the images you would like to use for both pieces. You’re welcome to submit a few extra photos if you’d like some flexibility when designing.
The finished photo area is approximately 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm, depending on the keychain shape selected.
Choose Your Keychain Shape
A variety of shapes will be available, including rounded, oval, rectangular, arched and shield styles. You’ll select your preferred shapes when submitting your photos through the Google Form!
You can also seelct the shape in person at the class.
What You'll Learn
During the workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Safely work with UV resin
- Prepare and position photographs for resin
- Layer photographs and decorative elements
- Add pressed botanicals, metallic accents and other inclusions
- Minimize bubbles and achieve a clean finish
- Properly cure UV resin
- Attach and finish keychain hardware
No previous resin or jewellery-making experience is required. Everything will be demonstrated step by step.
