These guardians have appeared in many forms—tutelary spirits, daimons, household deities, totems, guardian figures, and protective animals. While their appearances and cultural meanings differ, they all reflect a common human desire to create symbols of protection, guidance, and connection.
In this workshop, participants will design and sculpt their own contemporary guardian figure using Aves® Apoxie Sculpt. Rather than recreating an existing cultural or religious symbol, participants will invent a unique being inspired by their own lives, values, interests, or environments.
No previous sculpting experience is necessary, just imagination and a willingness to experiment.
