Join us for a free information event to learn more about the role of a Personal Assistant (PA) in social care and the positive difference PAs make in supporting disabled people to live independently and remain connected to their communities.
This event is open to anyone interested in becoming a Personal Assistant, existing PAs looking for information and networking opportunities, and people who employ, or are considering employing, a PA through Self-Directed Support.
On the day, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Meet over 15 organisations offering advice, information and support
- Speak directly with professionals and services involved in social care
- Learn about PA employment, recruitment, training and support
- Connect with other PA Employers and Personal Assistants
- Attend short informative presentations at 11.15AM or 12.15PM
- Enjoy complimentary refreshments while networking and gathering information
