The Mulligan Headcovers Persimmon Classic is a tournament experience built around the history, tradition, and spirit of the game. Grab a partner and step back in time for a 2-person scramble featuring persimmon woods and hickory-stick irons.Players will use persimmon woods and drivers on Par 4s and Par 5s, with hickory-stick irons used on designated Closest to the Pin holes. Persimmon woods and hickory-stick irons will be provided, and players will finish out each hole with their own clubs.
Best of all, proceeds from the tournament will support the youth development programs offered by First Tee, helping provide young golfers and kids of the Greater Richmond area with opportunities to learn, grow, and develop both on and off the course.
