About this Event
Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect nearly every aspect of a woman’s health, from sleep, mood, and energy to weight, metabolism, and sexual wellness. In this in-person workshop, we’ll explore what happens to hormones during this transition, common symptoms women may experience, and practical ways to support health through lifestyle and targeted interventions. We’ll also discuss hormone replacement therapy (HRT), including its potential benefits, risks, and available options, to help women feel more informed and empowered to make decisions about their health.
The workshop will be led by Krista Chernoff, APRN. Krista is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at RC Functional MD, where she takes a root-cause approach to care with a special focus on women’s health and hormonal wellness. She takes an evidence-based, whole-person approach to care, combining conventional medicine with personalized strategies to support hormonal balance, metabolic health, and overall well-being.
