Perfume-Making Workshop

Explore the beautiful world of fragrance as you learn about scent families, fragrance notes, and the art of blending aromas. Discover how different scents work together, evoke memories, and inspire personal expression.
Then, let your senses lead the way as you create your very own signature fragrance—a scent that is uniquely yours.
Your experience includes:
- 30 mL perfume spray — custom blended by you
- 10 mL perfume oil roller — your own personal creation
- Perfume notebook — for recording your blends, discoveries, and inspiration
- Personalized label — the finishing touch for your fragrance
- Crystals or dried flowers — your choice of botanical-inspired additions to your creations
Whether you're a fragrance enthusiast or simply looking for a beautiful way to spend an afternoon, this workshop invites you to slow down, get creative, and discover the joy of making something entirely your own.
No experience necessary. All materials are provided.
This experience takes place in "The Gather Room" at Marshmallow Moon in Barrington, Illinois—a welcoming creative space designed for inspiring workshops, meaningful connections, and a little everyday magic.

- When you arrive, come to the front main entrance of the building (The main entrance that faces Rte 14).
- The bathrooms are in the foyer. Look for the “W” or the “M” on the doors to the left and the right.
- Marshmallow Moon is located straight ahead (and to the right) in the lower level. *There is no elevator.
