About this Event
The holidays run on an impossible standard: the perfect gift, the perfect table, the perfect year-end numbers, and a woman who makes all of it look effortless. For women, November and December are when the pressure at home and the pressure at work land in the same week, and perfectionism stops being a strength and starts costing you sleep, margin, and joy. This panel brings together five Minnesota women who have built demanding, seasonal businesses and learned, sometimes the hard way, where "good enough" is the better call.
What you'll walk away with:
- How to spot perfectionism when it shows up disguised as high standards, care, or "just being thorough"
- Practical ways to hold boundaries through your busiest season without losing customers or goodwill
- What each panelist has intentionally stopped doing, and what changed in her business once she did
- Language you can borrow for saying no, handing work off, asking for help, and resetting an expectation mid-project
Doors open at 6:00 for open networking, and each panelist hosts her own table with food, drinks, sweets, and swag to sample as you make the rounds. Every table runs its own giveaway, so bring a stack of business cards to trade during networking and to drop in for prizes. The event lands on Election Day, so wear your "I Voted" sticker for a shot at extra prizes, including 2027 Minnesota Vixens tickets.
Panelists: Heidi Andermack (Chowgirls), Liza Sterletske (Volière Spirits), Elizabeth Rose (Rose Street & Patisserie 46), Laura Brown (Minnesota Vixens)
Hosts/Moderator: Cece Campbell, WeMN President, and Shannon Gilbertson (Urban Growler Brewing)
