PERCUSSION WORKSHOP WITH MARC CECILFollowing the success of our recent Jazz Africa workshop with Tony Kofi and Basil Hodge, where everyone had such a great time getting involved with the percussion, we thought… why not dedicate an entire day to it?
We're delighted to welcome Marc Cecil, drummer and percussionist with Derek Nash's Latin jazz band PICANTE, for a fun, inspiring and hands-on day exploring the wonderful world of percussion!
From improvisation and ensemble playing to Brazilian samba and Cuban rhythms, this workshop promises to be a fantastic opportunity to develop your musical skills, explore new ideas and, above all, have fun making music together.
Open to instrumentalists, vocalists and percussionists of all abilities – you don't need to be a percussionist to take part. Rhythm is at the heart of everything we play!
