About this Event
Peperuda 🦋
Our new immersive dance show Peperuda is opening its doors in London 6th & 7th Nov! Situated in a 12c. medieval church at Bishopsgate, this show has been a slow burner for us.
We have been researching ritual, community, steps, prayer, and most intensely - how do we find hope in a world that’s increasingly darker?
How do we build hope through dancing and breathing together? How do we remain free as individuals while we deeply care for each other.
This piece is inspired by Peperuda - a Balkan rain prayer ritual through song and dance. We have created our own Peperuda ritual to serve and reflect us as contemporary people and to create a bubble of love, hope and community.
