About this Event
People's Emergency Briefing
Location: Memorial Hall, Newmarket
Join us at Newmarket Memorial Hall for an important briefing where we will be screening the People's Emergency Briefing. Fronted by Chris Packham featuring Deborah Meaden, this film covers the crucial information from the 2025 Westminster briefing where experts outlined to decision-makers, politicians and business leaders the real and present risks to health, food, security and the economy. We urge everyone, especially local politicians,to attend this free screening and discussion.
Admission is free and we will be serving some light refreshments before the film. The National Emergency Briefing organisers recommend 16 years + considering the content, but as climate change is affecting the upcoming generations the most, we will leave it to adults' discretion if they choose to bring mature children to this event, we only ask that they are interested and supported by an accompanying adult. We would absolutely welcome secondary children accompanied by teachers and parents.
