Event Overview
Join the PEO Lakehead Chapter and OACETT Thunder Bay for our Annual Golf Tournament, a great opportunity for engineering and engineering technology professionals to network, build connections, and enjoy an afternoon on the course.
Whether you are an experienced golfer or a beginner, all skill levels are welcome. Register as an individual, a pair, or a full team and spend the day networking with colleagues from across the profession.

Tournament Format:
- Four-person teams
- Best Ball format
- Shotgun start
- Open division
- No handicaps
Participant Capacity:
- Maximum 40 participants
- Maximum 10 teams
Registration Fee: $100 per personThe registration fee includes:
- 9 holes of golf
- Golf cart
- Catered dinner
- Eligibility for tournament prizes
Registration Deadline: September 30, 2026
Registration Method: Eventbrite
Participants may:
- Register as an individual
- Register as a pair
- Register as a full team of four
Players are welcome to request teammates in the EventBrite registration. Teams will be finalized and announced at registration on the day of the event.
If the tournament reaches capacity, interested participants may email to be added to a waitlist.
Tournament Schedule
- Registration and team assignments: Prior to the shotgun start
- Shotgun Start: 12:00 PM
- Golf: Approximately 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM
- Catered Dinner: 4:00 PM
- Prize Presentation and Door Prize Draws: Following dinner

These contests are open to all participants.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded for:
- Tournament Champion (lowest team score)
- Longest Drive
- Closest to the Pin
Prize details will be announced at the event.
Food and Refreshments
- Catered dinner included with registration
- Food and beverages may also be purchased from the clubhouse and cart service
Participants with dietary restrictions should note their requirements during Eventbrite registration or contact the organizers.
Equipment and Facilities
Golf carts are included.The following facilities are available at Dragon Hills:
- Driving range (additional cost)
- Putting green
- Rental clubs (available directly through Dragon Hills Golf Course)
Practice facilities are available before and after the tournament.
Dress Code
Golf CasualParticipants should bring:
- Golf clubs
- Golf attire
- Weather-appropriate clothing
Scoring
- Teams will record the lowest score achieved by any team member on each hole.
- Team scores will be recorded on paper scorecards.
- Individual scores may also be tracked.
- Scorecards must be submitted following completion of play.
Inclement Weather
In the event the tournament is cancelled due to severe weather, participants will receive a refund.
