The Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service will take place on Sunday 8 November.The service will take place outdoors at the War Memorial at Battery Rocks and will be led by Rev Jacky Wise of Penlee Cluster. The Council is pleased to confirm the Cornish language will again feature prominently in the service, with translated prayers read by Mayor of Penzance, Cllr Andy Law.
Key timings on Remembrance Sunday:
10:15am – The Civic Parade will form-up in the forecourt of St John’s Hall
10:35am – The Parade will set off for the march to the War Memorial at Battery Rocks
10:55am – Remembrance Service and wreath laying
Members of the public are very welcome to watch the parade and attend the service.
Following the service, Penzance Royal British Legion will be providing refreshments and a buffet at their clubhouse on Bread Street which everyone is welcome to attend.

A rolling road closure will be in place from 10:30am –10:50am which includes:

Chapel Street
Under Chapel Yard
Battery Road (from the junction of Under Chapel Yard to the War Memorial)
