This Penguin Players show is presented in partnership with McLean County Penguin Project - By creating unrestricted access to the performing arts, McLean County Penguin Project® demonstrates that the special challenges of a disability need not handicap a person’s ability to participate in life’s many experiences. Night of the Macabre is Penguin Players debut production, in McLean County Penguin Project's 17th year in Bloomington Normal.
Our penguins may not be able to fly but that does not prevent their spirits from soaring!
NIGHT OF THE MACABRE by Tracy Wells -- A hunt for horror finds four friends at the Museum of the Macabre…a wax museum displaying scenes from short stories by great authors of Gothic Horror like Poe, Hawthorne, and Irving. But as unnerving as the exhibits - and the stories behind them - are…the real terror for the fearless four comes when the exhibits start to come to life!
We will have an ASL interpreter for our Friday and Saturday performance (not Sunday), the auditorium is equipped with hearing assistance devices, sensory-friendly options available for each performance, and the auditorium is accessible, please contact us if you need any other accommodations.
