Join PedalSafe ROA to ride some of Roanoke's newest bike infrastructure and talk about how it connects to the rest of the city's network!
Ride: We'll meet at Market Square downtown on Monday, October 12 at 5:45pm. Then, at 6pm we'll head out on a group ride over the MLK Bridge and along the Lick Run Greenway to Gainsboro Road. From there, we'll ride the newly completed mobility track to Salem Avenue, roll past the Virginia Museum of Transportation and the Amtrak station, and finish at the library via Jefferson Street. Bring a bike, helmet, and lights!
Meeting: At 6:30pm, we'll gather in the Teen Classroom on the first floor of the Main Library to dig into the Gainsboro Road project and how it ties together downtown, the Lick Run Greenway, and Northwest Roanoke, with time for your questions and ideas.
Everyone is welcome, riders and non-riders alike!
Bike racks are available outside the library.
