Pedals for a Pantry, a free, family-friendly 6.5-mile bike ride supporting Care & Share House. We'll start and finish at the Railway Inn, with stops at both Care & Share House locations and Hy-Vee on West Broadway. Along the way, we'll tour the pantries, learn a little more about the work they do, and help fill the shelves.
At Hy-Vee, we'll have a collection tent where riders and non-riders alike can purchase and donate items from the pantry's most-needed list. **There is no cost to ride and no donation is required.**
The ride is an easy 6.5 miles and, including stops, should take about two hours.
Ride with us, meet us at Hy-Vee, or simply help us spread the word.
**Ride. Share. Give.**
*Railway Inn will be open at 7AM, for breakfast before the ride starts at 10:30Am.
Bring your helmet, lights, bicycle lock and anything you might need to get you through the self supported no drop ride.
*RIDE AT YOUR OWN. RISK* This rides participation is completely voluntary and you assume all risk and liability known and unknown.
