FREE BEGINNERS CYCLE TRAINING EVENT & CELEBRATION WITH PEDAL IN THE PARK YORK 2026 (Everyone is welcome but booking is essential).
Come with your bike and yourself looking festive.

ACTIVITIES AT THE EVENT
TRAINING starts at 10.30 (adults and children)
CHILDREN'S FUN CYCLING ACTIVITES & RIDE at 12ish and a small group ride around the track.
QUICK SAFETY BIKE CHECKS by Spokey Dokey
BIKE MARKING/BIKEREGISTER TBC by the North Yorkshire Police
GROUP RIDE starts at 12.45 (a short, safe group ride organised for the adults and 8 year olds and over who are accompanied by a responsible adult are welcome to join us). The ride will be fully marshalled and mainly off road. The bike ride will finish at the Knavesmire Pub to carry on the celebration. Safe cycle parking will be available for participants inside, but locking your bike is recommended.
WHAT IS REQUIRED - a helmet and bike if you don't have a bike we have a small range of bikes and a few helmets are available on a first come basis. To find out more contact us on [email protected]
Toilets are only available for customers who buy something from The Little Yorkshire Coffee Co at the cafe where the event is located.
