Unlike some more technical jewellery-making modes, beading is nostalgic and mindful. The perfect way to unwind after work.
Make your own baroque freshwater pearl huggies + upcycled pearl necklace at Shop Gal, a stone's throw from Smith Street (Fitzroy).
During this workshop you'll make:
1 x pearl choker necklace (from mostly Op Shopped pearls!!)
1 x pair freshwater pearl huggies (gold-plated stainless steel or stainless steel findings)
*All materials included + snacks and alcohol-free refreshments*
If you went through a beading phase as a kid, this will be nicely nostalgic for you. If not, it's an easy skill to pick up. This workshop is high on mindful crafting and low on technical difficulty.
This is the perfect opportunity for that long-awaited catch-up with friends OR to get out of your comfort zone and come to something solo.
We’re planning on running these events quite regularly, the idea being if you attend a few you’ll hopefully cross paths with the same people! It can be a bit scary asking for someone’s number straight off the bat, so we’re facilitating the repeat run-ins for you.
