The perfect Christmas gift, this relaxed and friendly workshop will guide you through the steps to make a tealight holder, using shapes inspired by the beautiful architecture of the North East.
You'll learn how to roll, smooth and shape the clay and experiment with how to create texture and pattern, cutting, carving and smoothing using the tools provided.
I'll show you how to join the pieces to give them strength, and then you can add as much detail as you feel inspired to!
This cosy workshop is a relaxing and memorable way to spend time with friends, make a gift for someone special, or simply to take a little time for yourself at a busy time of year. The event includes teas and coffees and some homemade cake.
Your piece will be carefully dried, glazed and fired, ready for collection for about 4 weeks later from Beyond the Byre or I can post it to you for a small extra charge.
